Accounting and Budget

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

Accounting and Budget is responsible for providing accounting and budgetary services for the administration of the project. Accounting and Budget prepares, in conjunction with the Project Manager, the program budget and manages the accounting of program expenses. It also processes purchase orders and payment requests. Accounting and Assets also interfaces with the Community Finance Department.

PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Accomplishments include: 1) developing an effective and simple procedure to process purchase requests; 2) preparing the program budget; and 3) maintaining and updating the budget.
FISCAL YEAR 2007 OBJECTIVES:

  • Continue to provide accounting services for the project
  • Prepare budgets and budget modifications in a timely manner
  • Process purchase orders and payment requests in a timely manner
